Phones that Display Music Tracks - pjarrett - 11-04-2012 03:31pm

As the title says what phones diplay the mp3 tag, i have a htc desire (out of contract in 4 days hence the need) that plays over bluetooth but doesn't display the tag and i cant change album except on the phone itself

Tried my other halfs htc sensation xl and thats the same

my sons iphone 3gs works perfectly but i didn't try changing album

anyone else any experience, i was planning to buy a htc one S but may have to go iphone if thats what works best

Paul

Link is the Bluetooth page at LR which says my phone works which it does but it doesn't display the tracks and i cant browse the albums over bluetooth, if i try by cable it doesn't work at all.

at the moment the only thing i have seen work is an iphone, which i expected i guess but personally i like the android phones and would like one of those to work Smile

I have a Samsung Galaxy SII (Android) and my wife has a blackberry. Both work fine from a phone point of view.
I sometimes play music from my phone and it seems to work as advertised expect that you get no album art.
I just checked the RR page and most Android phones seem to b e listed here.

Interesting that the S2 works, do you get the track and artist name?

I use itunes to manage the music and sync it with htc sync but it doesn't read the mp3tag might be interesting to understand what format the car reads
