Usb stick? - broady43 - 04-04-2012 08:38pm Hi,I am going to purchase a usb stick. Are they all the same or do I have to buy a specific one to suit the Meridian system? RE: Usb stick? - pureevoque - 04-04-2012 08:47pm pretty much all the same, I went for one that was small so it wouldn't get damaged putting things in and out of the one and only cubby; http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005FYNSZA/ref=asc_df_B005FYNSZA7286672?smid=A2BRRF7A1R81BM&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B005FYNSZA It is very small, so much so it's quite intricate to get ou! Works fast browsing though, much quicker than browsing the SD card in my VRS! RE: Usb stick? - ED209 - 04-04-2012 09:02pm I just bought a play.com branded one 32gb for 16 quid. It works fine. RE: Usb stick? - cjfp - 05-04-2012 09:05am Mine takes 20 - 30 secs to connect - does that seem to be the standard? RE: Usb stick? - pureevoque - 05-04-2012 09:38am nope ! Mine takes about 2 - 3 secs and is nearly full ! the transfer rate of the stick would have something to do with it, some cheap sticks might not perform well Usb stick? - snksnk - 05-04-2012 09:58am Does it matter if its formated as fat32 or ntfs?
