Paid a visit to the dealer today regarding our p/ex.
Salesman then checked his order system and bingo, our car goes into build this Tuesday.
That causes a minor hiccup as have been in touch with Danielle regarding factory visit next Monday 2nd, it might be too short notice to get there this week now as their visit slots may all be filled.
Will check this out tomorrow.
Car will definitely turn up when we are on holiday.
So can any of you remember the discussion regarding taxing a vehicle for a week or more as we don't get back into the country until 23 April?

Let's hope you can change the date of your factory visit tomorrow.
I recall that this could be done, the dealer would tax for 12 months and however many days required to the end of the current month.

Well it's being delivered next Wednesday, so with any luck should take delivery when we get back last week of the month.
It's going to be a strange holiday because we've added an extra 14 sleeps to go.
The old sods law thing, wait for 7 months and turns up when you can't collect it.

is that built on the 27th of March and delivered on April 11th?
Mine was meant to go to build on March 30th - not sure if this has happened as the dealer is yet to email me back - and I'm trying to figure out when I might expect delivery

Yes, although I've made that many calls today it might even be the 10th but it doesn't matter as we are not here.
So with any luck yours might turn up next Friday.

He must be reading this-car is built and should be with me next week, Easter holidays might delay it a bit though
