Avg 4 Months From Order to Delivery - As per Range Rover San Francisco - Billionaireboysclub - 18-02-2012 02:43am
I went into the Range Rover Dealer in SF today, and was just making some enquiries, and they said from Start they have had a 4 month Window from Order to Delivery, and this is still the case.
I asked if this has improved now to 4 months because of production being more smooth, the dealer said no..they have always had a 4 month Window.
Just found it interesting, as I have been waiting a lot more than 4 months, as have a lot of you...yet these guys in SF get their cars within 4 months!

When I went on the Halewood factory tour recently I would estimate that the production was split 65% evoque to 35% freelander and that of all the vehicles I saw probably about 75% were left hand drive.
Mine was ordered 29/09/2011
Built 03/02/2012
Delivered to dealer 14/02/2012
So 4 months 16 days from order to delivery to dealer which is better than I was expecting.
Anyway, my wait is almost over as my car is now at the dealer undergoing PDI and dealer fit accessories ready for collection on 1st March. Can't wait !!

I gave up waiting cause my dealer was 6months out. All the dealer getting were black pure plus with no options. Went to a out of town dealer a bought mine off the lot. No regrets has everything I would have ordered except for dynamic suspension.

Ordered on 14/9 here as a birthday treat, delivered to dealer on 18/2 ready for 1/3...so 5 months and 4 days, however I could have had this a little earlier if I didnt care about having it on the new reg. so I think 4 months is probably correct...

Totaly Disagree ... I ordered in July 2011, (the month they started Manufacturing the RRE) my "estimated" delivery into my hands is now 13/4/2012 .... nearly 8 MONTHS !!

Excessive those who ordered in Sept/Oct last year were/are looking at 8 to 9 months, June to me still seems a long way off.
I'm likely to move from holding pool to build status in my dealers next order call, if I'm lucky, so May/June delivery at the earliest.
Anyone getting their cars in less than 6 months in the UK are very fortunate.

Ordered from a local Dealer in Newcastle..... wish I'd of gone somewhere else now

Delivery times must have a lot to do with which dealer you place the order with - I ordered on 18/11/11 and my dealer reassures me that expected delivery is still end of March (although he had previously quoted mid April which could go up or down by a couple of weeks) - I came out of the "pool" around mid Jan and the order is locked so I cannot make any changes

It does, but for many of us new to Range Rover we didn't know that when going to our local dealer and placing our order, and our dealer is hardly going to say, 'oh and by the way way if you want your car sooner, ring around a few other dealers' haha.
