blinking lights? - Emiel - 14-02-2012 01:17pm Here is a video from the same Evoque I have ordered and hope to receive within two weeks. It is a demo model used by journalists. In one of the videos from "my car" I found on youtube, I saw the lights blinking, which looks like a great feature. I wonder if this is done in the editing of the film, or can the Evoque really wink? See: RE: blinking lights? - pureevoque - 14-02-2012 01:33pm it's how some cameras pick led lights up he's cool RE: blinking lights? - RacingSnake - 14-02-2012 01:37pm very cool. and there is a thread here talking about that effect seen in a different video: http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Can-this-be-done-with-the-Xenon-DRL-s?highlight=flashing+lights RE: blinking lights? - WorldTraveler - 14-02-2012 01:57pm The LED's actually do "flash", but a frequecy hogher than the video being shot, results in a blinking effect, a little like running a circular saw under flouresent light.. RE: blinking lights? - Emiel - 14-02-2012 02:12pm Thank you for your answers and the link. Very clear to me now, explaining about the frequency. But it sure looks nice on video, specially the slow blinking. Maybe a nice suggestion to add it as a feature on the Evoque in the future as well. We can use it when we encounter other Evoque drivers. |
