20" Continental Cross Contact UHP Tyres. Fit for purpose? - Mike - 28-01-2012 09:05am Collected my new car yesterday, everything is fantastic, but slight concern about the tyres, on the spec sheet it said it would be fitted with Pirellis as my previous Land Rovers always had, but it has come with Continentals, has anyone experienced these Continentals in snow yet? or got any views? Fit for purpose? - martinPL - 28-01-2012 07:24pm I have these on my RRS and they perform really well despite the fact they are not getting the absolutely best ratings. I am on my 2nd set and have been able to do on each close to 40K miles. I wold not worry about these tires. RE: 20" Continental Cross Contact UHP Tyres. Fit for purpose? - QueJumper - 28-01-2012 11:49pm Yes but fine on what? Tarmac and dry hard packed gravel maybe but they don't look that great for snow or mud. Anyone driven them in any of that?
