RE: Export a RR Evoque out of UK to Switzerland (or Europe) - Sarcastrix - 27-01-2012 09:31am Hi, you can always go directly to LR Export sales instead of paying a middle man a commission. It's a very simple process and once the car is ready you fly over to the UK to collect it and drive home Details are: Paul Bawden land rover military sales mobile ++44 (0 )777 616 4042 fax ++44 (0) 115 846 1731 http://www.landrovermilitarysales.co.uk Paul Bawden <sales@landrover-militarysales.co.uk> RE: Export a RR Evoque out of UK to Switzerland (or Europe) - invoke - 29-01-2012 11:16pm (27-01-2012 09:31am)Sarcastrix Wrote: Hi, you can always go directly to LR Export sales instead of paying a middle man a commission. RE: Export a RR Evoque out of UK to Switzerland (or Europe) - macaco - 12-02-2012 05:34pm If you are resident in Switzerland or plan to be, then You can order a LR in the Uk as a tourist (assuming you're not a diplomat or a militar). This is not a problem. The problem is to get insurance for the transit to Switzerland. Big insurance compamies would normally insure you only after you delcared the car at the custom and only from the border. On th other hand, Uk companies will not provide insurance if you are not resident in the Uk. I contacted LR diplomatic sales and they told me if I will have to get the insurance; they will not help me with that. Of course, there are brokers that provide the insurance but it is not easy to find them by doing an internet search. I havent started calling brokers to ask if they provide insurance. So, I'd be grateful if any of you have found a reliable broker and pass the company's name to me (either a Swiss or Uk one). Thanks a lot. Export a RR Evoque out of UK to Switzerland (or Europe) - paulelescoces - 12-02-2012 11:55pm I think this is the same as importing from any other country, Although mine is imported from next door (germany) it still needed insured in order that it could be taken to Switzerland for the MFK and import, I think this is quite common in switzerland so I suggest you ask an insurance agent in your area, I am using AXA.
