Side Nets - Claud - 15-01-2012 08:58pm

Unfortunately the Evoque unlike the Freeloader and the FFRR does not have side net mounting points, just a curry hook for curries and, if you must, shopping for SWHMBO.

I personally like side nets and have purchased these on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170711824792?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

They hook onto the existing mounts on each side of the boot floor, the folding rear seat upper retention mount and I have attached the rear upper hook just under the rear hatch rubber seal around the side panel.

I can now keep items I always have with me neatly retained at the side of the boot.

Has any one else found solutions for the rear boot?

I use a plastic storage box secured in place with a bungy strap between the rear seat hooks [and therefore sits along the rear seats, unforunately away from the curry hook]. Ideally I am looking for a way so that it sits under the curry hook - any suggestions anyone.

LHS of boot, just inside, under boot cover

Storage isn't good in the boot so i've taken your advice Claud and ordered 2 of these. Last car had a storage pack which included nets as well as hooks on the side near the parcel shelf and attached to the parcel shelf itself.

Hopefully a good purchase, thanks.

Thanks Claud, ordered via your eBay link.

You can't really go wrong for just £6.21, we use them in my wife's Freelander too.
