I've ordered an SD4 MT Pure with 18" wheels - The V - 09-01-2012 03:33pm I've got a few days to change the wheels if necessary. It would be a great help if you could attach your photos of your cars with 18"s. I can't find any images on google image search and I'm trying to get a feel for the way the thing looks on these (rare, I believe most are changing to 19"s at least) wheels. Please help! Looking forward to your images. Thank you RE: I've ordered an SD4 MT Pure with 18" wheels - THEMACS - 09-01-2012 08:06pm (09-01-2012 03:33pm)The V Wrote: I've got a few days to change the wheels if necessary. There are Lots of images about if you look at Youtube road tests there are a couple of German Reviews I have seen on the standard 18", not my cup of tea, but each to their own RE: I've ordered an SD4 MT Pure with 18" wheels - Dave_T - 09-01-2012 08:54pm [attachment=1122]There's a lot of advantages to the 18", ride, economy, replacement cost, offroad durability (relatively speaking!) and few disadvantages. It's not an ugly wheel, though if I'm honest I prefer the looks of the 6 spoke 19". RE: I've ordered an SD4 MT Pure with 18" wheels - Evoqess - 09-01-2012 09:44pm In the flesh the Evoque really isn't a big car. To me the 20s are oversized, and even my 19s look more than ample. The 18s seem about right (current winter wheels) but tastes vary. And some clowns like big shoes right! Hard for me to recognise the difference so wanted hard proof. (09-01-2012 09:44pm)Evoqess Wrote: In the flesh the Evoque really isn't a big car. Ha yes! the bigger the wheel the more dynamic and "concept" it looks.. which I like but I'm hoping the 18's i've picked for rough terrain don't look too er "wrong". I also don't want to appear too flash to my customers.. trying to strike the right accord. Perfect! it looks slightly more jacked-up whereas the 20"s are more "californian" lowered look. 18's it is then!! Keep the images coming though. Thank you all. |
