Changing Pure Grille - yes or no - Wicksy - 28-12-2011 07:53pm

I collected my Fuji Pure 5-dr last Friday and am well pleased. The only thing that is giving me food for thought is whether or not to change the grille and side vents to gloss black as on the Dynamic.
The Atlas colour is "ok" but I'm wondering whether the near £165 plus VAT is worth shelling out to make the change?

Mine are on order from my dealer, having to wait as these parts are in short demand at the factory & the track comes first for any parts.
Only reason for changeing to black, is as mine is in OG & the grille is AG, I'm not to keen on the "grey on grey" look.

Do it - but I would say that... http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Purenamic-or-is-it-Dymure-Pure-with-black-grille-and-trim

Nick the parts manager at Yeovil Land Rover will give forum members 20% discount on LR prices and will ship to anywhere!

Thanks for that WB - Nick's prices seem to be lower than Duckworth Parts (another forum member). I'd appreciate it if you could give me his e mail address so that I can get a total costSmile

Just have them painted! It will probably be cheaper!

Anywhere? Really? Even outside the UK?

It's not dressing up its a colour preference.

Personally I don't like silver trim and I do like black - so had I bought a prestige I would have "dechromed" it like I have with every other car I've had.

Yes I put him in touch with one forum member in Singapore who needed a grille.

Maybe in the US but quotes I had in the UK varied from £200 to £600 and the parts are a lot cheaper to buy pre painted.
