Electric Folding Door Mirrors - xxxx5 - 30-04-2011 04:48pm Hi, Not sure if anyone can answer my question? Does the option of having electric door mirrors fold open when the car is unlocked via the key fob? On my current BMW you have to unfold and fold manually using the button on the drivers arm rest. RE: Electric Folding Door Mirrors - DynamicRRV - 30-04-2011 05:00pm On the new fiestas they do so I would think so yes RE: Electric Folding Door Mirrors - vision*R - 30-04-2011 05:05pm This video shows that they do fold open when the car is unlocked: http://interactiveevoque.me/2011/04/25/design-and-advanced-technology-video/ RE: Electric Folding Door Mirrors - GeordieBoy - 04-05-2011 12:37am Freelander, D4, Sport and Vogue all fold and unfold on locking and unlocking, I can't be sure, but I'd imagine when fitted the Evoque will do the same Hope this helps RE: Electric Folding Door Mirrors - cjfp - 04-05-2011 06:57am Hold up - apparently LR don't have the parts for the folding mirrors so they are now going to duck tape a shaving mirror (on a flexible arm) to each side, so u will have to fold them in manually. There is a premium option where u pay extra for a hidden monkey in each front wheel arch and they reach out and fold them in for u when u park. Is that right ? RE: Electric Folding Door Mirrors - cjfp - 04-05-2011 05:31pm If you spec memory seats, then you can get the folding mirrors (with some other extras too like memory reverse etc) for a 'discounted' price that is cheaper than folding mirrors (without the other extras). Equally you can have memory seats without any special mirrors |
