Had a shock yesterday when my foot got caught in the steering rack under the pedals.
Is it supposed to be uncovered?

I had this happen to me in my test drive and wondered if it was the type of shoes I had been wearing, but surprised this has not been mentioned already.

See dandavis1, if you'd been driving like me with your feet on the steering wheel then it would never have happened!
