Cool, let's do it--just ordered my set of Xenons! Can't wait to see those DRLs on my very own Pure.

You're one step ahead of me so timing is good for you to program first.

I'll be sure to post pics of the install/program for you lurkers out there.

this problem has been around for a long time. there is at least one company down south and one in usa that will convert the xenon lights into plug and play. but due to the overall cost i just swapped my pure for a dynamic.

That company was Drew's Garage, but according to Jim, electrical conversion isn't necessary anymore--> You can reprogram the car's CCF to send the new, correct power by default.

335i, there are two settings in the body control submenu of the CCF. Are both of these set like the photo below?

yes, but has any member managed to do this conversion with a autologic device. Confused

Yup both settings are active. I am going to update the unit and see if it made a difference.

335i - are you using GAP IID BT ? If so are you saving changes and updating CCF?

RE: Xenon Headlights - 335i - 02-05-2016 12:03am

Yes I am using that tool and yes I have uploaded and saved CCF settings. My car goes through the whole "process" of turning on and off etc but no dice

I'll try to update the unit and try tonight. Will post results
