Thank you thank you thank you. I feel happier every day with my colour choice! I think I will wet my pants when I first see one in Australia. (Who knows, mine might be the first Blue to arrive?) It turns off the stop/start function - it's supposed to offer a 3% fuel saving by killing the engine when stationary and in neutral - the engine restarts the instant your foot touches the clutch pedal. I've had it for the last two years on my Audi - its disconcerting at first as you fear it won't restart (too many memories of rubbish cars in one's youth). The only time I turn it off is if I'm crawling along in heavy traffic when it just becomes annoying. RE: Mauritius Blue - The Valeter - 09-12-2011 01:02am I had the eco stop start on my FL2 & it was as common for me to switch it off as it was to open the door to get in the car. RE: Mauritius Blue - peet - 09-12-2011 01:45am Thanks for the pictures. Im so glad to have chosen this colour but I still have no idea how long Im going to have to wait. Originally ordered a firenze red in september then changed to the Mauritius on 1st November when it became available. |
