Primarily I'd use ipod, but am going further down the usb flash drive route now due to the compactness of the stick.

Fairly even with ipod and usb! I am almost only relying on an older ipod classic that i have permanently in the car!

I notice using USB the track name comes up on the audio home window and on the display between the dials, but no Album or Artist names, do other media inputs show more than just track name? (shame it doesnt show album art too!)
Also the track order is sometimes mixed up in an album, what is it using to determine track order? doesnt seem to be filename or track number in tag.

DAB Radio when I'm just running around. CD when I want really good stuff such as classical music or more complex music I've loaded 10 Cds and have another 45 in the car for that. Ipod for everything else - my whole collection on an Ipod Classic - seems quite good really.

Isn't it funny - but sometimes despite satellite radio, USB, Bluetooth streaming from the iPhone, blah blah ..... I'm still driving along wishing I had an Abba CD in the car

Right, strange how CD feels almost like an ancient media these days - "there's only like 12 songs in it!"
But, not so long ago the glove box (and occasionally the floor) was full of C-tapes.
