The pure grill is silver/grey. Not brown.

The coupe and 5 door have different colour "grey" and the one on the coupe looks quite brownish especially visible on an Orkney car which is a cooler grey.

You can order the grille and side trims from any LR dealer - they come prepainted - I'd recommend Nick at Land Rover Yeovil (he gives a 20% forum member discount and delivers for a flat £7).

It's a very easy job and there are videos on youtube already on how to do it - the grille is 4 screws and the wing side trim just pulls out. The door one you'll need a trim tool which I found on ebay for all of £4!

The vids on you tube are by Powerful UK Ltd

Exactly what the posters said above regarding the Youtube Vid: http://youtu.be/WpUrF-pYc2E

I followed the instructions as I changed my Prestige silver grill to the Dynamic black grill. Very simple...the only slight difficulty was the middle clip...you do need to wiggle the clip out of the tab from the inside to get it out. The vid was very helpful. Cool

Interested on thoughts of painting the grills. I was thinking of taking mine to the body shop in Feb when received. Worse case is that you have to buy a new grills anyway.

I am no expert, but thought may a quick sand with wet & dry sand paper then undercoat followed by color choice top coat.
