Mauritius Blue SD4 5door Prestige manual - Straydox - 01-12-2011 05:49pm

After 10 years of running my own cars - some purchased and some leased I have decided to hop back into the company car scheme and have just ordered the vehicle in the title.

In truth the Prestige, in standard form has almost every toy I'm likely to need so the options have been limited:

Cirrus Element interior/grey wood
19" Sparkle Silver Style 4 wheels (easy to clean)
Auto dipping interior mirror (once you get your head around it you just forget about it)
Spare wheel (not fitting even a space saver is a joke and I can still buy a can of goo if I want)
825w Meridian audio (I spend a lot of hours in the car - 20,000 plus miles a year and great sounds are essential)

So no pano roof? I test drove an OG Pure Coupe with a Cirrus interior and no Pano roof and it was bright, light and a great place to be so a lack of light wasn't an issue. I'm not a fan of sun roofs generally - prefer an open top cabrio.

Just 5 months to wait.....

I can vouch for that interior being fantastic same as mine and I also got the the grey oak finisher - you'll love it. Same for the upgraded audio - very good, I also do a lot of KM's per year and agree the interior space and toys must keep me happy.

Nice colour you went for, maybe my next one...

Would love to see some interior photos of that Cirrus interior. I do 60,000km a year, and am a little worried it might be too white - and stain easily.

Well done for taking the plunge and ordering a great colour combo! Re the Cirrus interior, I've only seen it in grained leather as per the Pure which looked fabulous - not in the softer Oxford leather of the Prestige. If I was sensible I'd be ordering a dark interior however after 5 consecutive Audi S-Line cars. all with black, toomb like insides I've resolved to have a change.

We have a soft leather Ekornes 'Stressless' chairs/sofa at home and to keep it looking good it does need a bit more care - so a coat of leather cream and a gentle clean from time to time....keeps that lovely proper leather aroma too and I expect that I'll be doing the same here.

I do plan to buy some of the proper LR seat covers listed in the accessory catalogue for use at weekends as I'm seriously into clay pigeon shooting and we will be out whatever the crappy weather is up to all the year round.

Just posted some new ones in the My Evoque section (OG Prestige Coupe) - they are very light.

Interesting - I really liked the Ambiance interior seat colour too - my lady wife didn't think the brown leather dash topper that's also included would be would like right with Mauritius blue so Element got her vote - as you say it would be interesting to compare notes.
