Didn't see adaptive cruise control any where in the options. Surprised LR not providing that on the vehicle that's a shame.

Does anyone know if it's a option anywhere else?

What is 'Adaptive Cruise Control'?

Cruise Control is std even on Pure

"Cruise Control
The cruise control system will maintain your cruising speed at a constant level until you either apply the brakes or cancel it, using the steering wheel controls. Invaluable on long journeys and an easy way to ensure you stay under the speed limit."

I had adaptive cruise control on my BMW and I really think LR missed a trick there.
I spoke to my dealer about it and he reckons that it has been reserved for the update every model gets after about three years.

For those that don't know adaptive cruise control adjusts the cruising speed by radar control which makes the car accelerate or slow down by monitoring the speed of vehicles in front of you. It's brilliant and in fog can spot slower cars in front and brake your car. A real safety feature.

It's standard or an option on RRS and FFRR.

Adaptive Cruise Control
The Range Rover has a further refined Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which provides even earlier identification of vehicles that may move into your path. This third-generation ACC system uses 12 beams to scan the road ahead 10 times every second, making it one of the most advanced systems available. It also offers more progressive deceleration, resets more accurately and is better able to indentify smaller road users, such as motorcycles, against larger vehicles and trucks.

Would be great to have on RRE, maybe some day.

Thx all, I've learnt something new.

Just googled ACC just now, and it looks like it's maybe available for LHD Evoques. It appears (and I'm maybe wrong) that just like the park heater and remote etc., that we don't have the same level of optionality as the euro zone!

I guess soon we won't even have to drive anymore, just get chauffeured here and there by our own cars!
