Service menu's and overrides - jessenj - 12-11-2011 11:58pm

Does anyone have a service manual for the Evoque yet? I'd like to know how to access some of the dealer functions, like disabling the auto-folding mirrors on lock.

Any ideas?

Why might you want to do that?

Anyway, I am pretty sure there is a thread that talks about dealer enabled options!

That would be useful in the freezing weather

You've got one on me there!

Still, one might have hoped the cold weather testing would have covered that one off?

I think the mirrors can be set from the "set up" menu on the screen between the speedo and the rev counter - have a look in the manual. If you don't have your car yet you can find the manual online on Topix - see the sticky.

I'm with you on that ChuckieB because they have devised the winter wiper parking setting. If they haven't considered the wing mirrors then do what I do spray WD40 on my Merc's wing mirrors bases.

that's correct. You can disable the mirrors folding in from the setup menu.
