Service menu's and overrides - jessenj - 12-11-2011 11:58pm Does anyone have a service manual for the Evoque yet? I'd like to know how to access some of the dealer functions, like disabling the auto-folding mirrors on lock. Any ideas? RE: Service menu's and overrides - ChuckieB - 13-11-2011 12:53am Why might you want to do that? Anyway, I am pretty sure there is a thread that talks about dealer enabled options! RE: Service menu's and overrides - vinda - 13-11-2011 01:08am That would be useful in the freezing weather RE: Service menu's and overrides - ChuckieB - 13-11-2011 01:18am You've got one on me there! Still, one might have hoped the cold weather testing would have covered that one off? RE: Service menu's and overrides - WB - 13-11-2011 10:39am I think the mirrors can be set from the "set up" menu on the screen between the speedo and the rev counter - have a look in the manual. If you don't have your car yet you can find the manual online on Topix - see the sticky. I'm with you on that ChuckieB because they have devised the winter wiper parking setting. If they haven't considered the wing mirrors then do what I do spray WD40 on my Merc's wing mirrors bases. RE: Service menu's and overrides - jeffzimm - 25-11-2011 09:42pm that's correct. You can disable the mirrors folding in from the setup menu. |
