well up from the 450 odd a month pre Evoque being available.

Sales up again in March - 985 Land Rover sales for the month!

LR sales now double what they were pre Evoque.

is it me or is this a bit of an ambitious effort?

that seems a bit expensive to me...

its got a tech pack and navigation and has already done 8,500kms. seems a bit ambitious.

and we have now ... a mauritius blue coupe, dynamic, with white contrast roof and 20" style 6 I believe.

And only a 4 seater as well. I reckon that will be a tough combination of colours/body style etc to shift, especially when nudging $100K

RE: Carpoint - Available Cars - chiggy - 12-04-2012 08:34am

I agree. I think the combination is pretty decent but its a very selective colour. I think it looks really good though especially as a Dynamic.

I think they would've sold it quite easily if it was a 5door. 3 door and with only 4 seats (what is the concept of this!!! I don't understand why they have the option of 4 seats) its just pointless. Still I'm sure it will be sold to someone eventually.

RE: Carpoint - Available Cars - Barneyridge - 12-04-2012 09:27am

Agree Chiggy, whilst my car is predominately a one person car and at most 2 person, the coupe and 4 seats still does not appeal.

I think the combo look good, but again probably a wrong decision by LR Aust or principal when making dealer orders.

Checkout the photo from the rear - they took it with an exhuast part missing/broken? already?

it's not broken. They've just taken off the toweye cover I believe. I remember seeing mine when it first arrived at the dealership and looked exactly the same. Looks weird but not broken haha!

I agree they could've at least put it on to not make it look like it was damaged.

Very ambitious I'd say. Based on the calls I had when selling mine there's a lot of people willing to pay $60k for an Evoque but not many past that price point. Although I will say that from the questions asked a lot of people see the satnav as a must have. This one seems to be looking to make a profit though, and when you add on your stamp duty and LCT and the possibility there is no inclusive gst to claim back for business buyers....Shocked much cheaper through a dealer imo.
