3 Year Service Packages. - The Valeter - 08-11-2011 11:06pm

Has anyone been offered or taken out one of these 3 year packages?

I was in a local dealer today asking for a price for a 2nd year service on my FL2 which Laughing

Whilst there I was talking to the girl on the desk about my forthcoming Evoque (not from there!). She mentioned their 3 year service packages for the Evoque. Bear in mind it was 2 years ago my dealer offered me a 3 year package on my FL2 that I declined & that a Range Rover is a more expensive brand (illegidly) than Landrover the 3 year deal on the Evoque Si4 was cheaper than I was offered on the Freelander @ £1064. I thought that was pretty good.

Was it the same price on all of the models?

Sorry, I didn't ask but a general rule of thumb is that the sporty model in any range is usually dearer in most areas!

I have been offered a 3 year deal on my SD4 pure for £950? (£30 per month)?

Is it worth doing?

Hi ceebee, sounds good to me, my previous experience with Land Rover on servicing has been expensive. If I recall around £450 a service per year.

Thanks for the info Tokenbod,
I don't normally take out these type of plans, but in this case I think I probably will, not so much for the cost of the service itself, but if during the 2nd or 3rd service it needs discs and pads etc then it could be a hefty bill when parts are added to the initial service cost.

950 blimey bite their arm off... other FL owners I know pay £450+ a service, dealer only offered me 43 a month straight off the computer screen (£1548 ), no special deal even the expected £1200 wasnt mentioned! Customer services contacted me just as a follow up, so I left them finding out what they could do for me!

From the computer screen I saw, I'm guessing RRP for annual service will be £500+ish (sorry no pound key on phone keyboard!)
