The Online Builder Versus Dealer Order Sheet. - The Valeter - 29-10-2011 10:49pm

I went to sign my order today & no matter how I work it I can't get the online configureator to tally with my order form or vice-versa!

When you spec a car up on-line does the final figure which presumably is on the road include the 1st years road tax?
What is the first years road tax on an Si4? I have a seperate figure under the rest of my stuff at £500.

I have also ordered at the dealer the contrast roof in Santorini Black which has come out at £500. Is this correct? Then as you build the spec online it lists Norvic black but then does not allow you to spec this option with a Lux pack?
It also on my order form states ""Santorini Contrast Roof With Matching......"" - No idea what the matching bit is??

Then of course the online configureator that gives you a summary of all costs/options etc doesn't include £90 for Co2 Offset Evil Note that's changed from £75 since I bought the FL2 Sad

Co2 offset? My order has it at £65 ex vat. Do they make this one up?

This is worrying, I wonder how much it should be? Though perhaps it is different for different engines.

No idea! And having just checked my order back they have the rfl in at £185. That'll need checking out? Think it should be £130. Perhaps the've upped it as the've guessed they won't be delivering this tax year!

The Valeter has hit the nail on the head. The co2 offset varies from engine to engine. The amount of money is then donated to Climate care, see below.

From what I understand, the contrast roof is Narvick, a solid. On metallic finish, santorini is metallic. The dealers computer may just have it loaded wrong, and yes £500 is right I think.

You can spec a contrast roof with lux pack, but it will kick it out online as it will change it to a contrast roof with the panoramic roof.

Ed - you can't. It is not an option.

Am I seeing into the future or does this site not know that the clocks have changed?!

I noticed that too, but I think they've changed now.
