2012 Range Rover Evoque — cooling fan / A/C issue, need help accessing F3 fuse - njames33 - Today 11:49am My 2012 Range Rover Evoque had the radiator fan running continuously after shutdown, which drained the battery. I disconnected the battery, then later jumped it. After that, the fan stopped running completely. I replaced the cooling fan control module, but now the fan does not come on at all, even with the A/C on full and the engine idling for 15–20 minutes in 95+ degree weather. The A/C blows strongly but only hot air. No OBD codes. I’m trying to check F3, which I believe is the 80-amp mega-fuse that controls the engine cooling fans, in the engine bay fuse box, but I can’t figure out how to remove the top protective cover/carrier. Questions: What is the correct way to remove/access the top protective cover for F3? Can F3 be tested in place, or does the cover have to come off? What else should I check if F3 tests good? Any advice or photos would be appreciated. |
