Can someone explain how I can insert photos as when I try to I get asked about a HTTP. Is it not possible to chose a pic from my PC?

If you have an account with photobucket, Picasso or similar its very easy.
I use photobucket and all I need to do is upload my picture to them and then copy and paste the image link into my post like this.

I don't use dropbox so I cant tell you yes or no.
If you have a way of copying and pasting the image from their website have a go.
You can click preview post and see if it works before you confirm it or delete it
