A and B Service work - Valdebraamhaar - 11-08-2016 11:47am

Hi,

Does anybody here know what work is actually being done when the car goes in for a A or B service.
So what points do they check and what is being replaced.
Just A or B service is just not clear.

I also had an Audi TT an a Yamaha motorcycle, and both service manuals are very clear what work needs doing and what to expect. (Also what can I do myself)

Cheers

Basically, oil, oil filter, air filter and pollen filter.

B you get a fuel filter and wheel spigots greased (which I doubt dealers bother to do).

Additionally there is brake and clutch fluid at every 3 years

The rest is inspect with a few lubrication bits, unless 10 years...

I reckon if you ever actually did the 10 year service at a dealer, most would need a small mortgage!

Bet that won't be cheap at a dealer
