Yeah, I get all the lines to show the outside of the car and the coloured block overlay on the rear view camera as before, but the default screen is a birds eye view of the car with colour blocks showing up as appropriate as I near objects. I then have to press a soft key top enable the rear view camera and navigate away from this screen. I have now attached a photograph of the screen to explain better. Overall I think this makes the parking sensors more helpful than just the beeping: RE: Movie hack - cutter7 - 17-02-2012 10:39am (16-02-2012 10:28pm)bell-auto-services Wrote: My car has the reversing lines and proximity blocks when im getting close to something as standard but the interface should enable these, If i remember from playing with mine as factory you can have rear view and lines as i have mine now as well asjust lines or just cameras. Hi Pete, When i select to go forward from reverse, i now have a screen that shows a birdseye view of the car, and on the bottom left is option 'reverse camera' and on the right is option 'display off' If you ignore this screen it will go back to the previous screen you had before selecting reverse after about 20 seconds, or touch display off, and it returns to your previous screen instantly. One other thing i have noticed is that on the birdseye screen if you happen to be close to any thing around the front sensors, it will show a colour distance on the front section (left or right) of the birdseye view of the car... pretty cool RE: Movie hack - bell-auto-services - 17-02-2012 10:47am I wonder if mine is slightly different with surround cameras ? do you have any pictures, i may be taking what i had for granted. At least its a nice added feature for you. pete RE: Movie hack - BFGEvoqueMan - 17-02-2012 11:12am Cutter, I presume it looks like the photo I have now attached to my before your post, and I also presume that you kie I do not have the surround camera system? BFGEM RE: Movie hack - cutter7 - 17-02-2012 11:42am Yes same as yours.. I have also shown a shot of the front sensor distance colours, which also show left and right sides front and back as well.. I don't have the surround system.
