Thanks, was just curious.

Given the amount of disquiet on most of the forums dedicated to the Evoque related to fuel consumption and we know that LR (very sensibly) monitor such places I wonder if there are revised engine maps being installed now on vehicles rolling off the production line.

I can't believe for a moment that LR didn't have a 'Houston we have a problem' trigger and got working on it pretty quickly.

I'm happy to be in the low 40s - and quite surprised at such a low mileage too so it will be interesting to see how it averages out as the miles increase.

Now up to 39 mpg on long trips since it turned 4000 miles seems to improve after some heavy right foot driving! Must clear out the dpf in the exhaust (any excuse for a good drive!)

Hi All,

Update after 2500 miles

Manual SD4 Prestige 5 door Average mpg

Cold Start urban, 1-2 miles short journey 29 mpg
Cold Start urban & rural roads about 6 miles journey 32.5 mpg
Rural roads about 18 miles journey 37 mpg
Motorways average speed 72mph 37.5 mpg

These are using Shell Fuelsave Fuel and are accurate brim to brim fill ups.

Hope for some inprovement after more mileage.

Cheers
Deeside

My 4th tank of mixed motorway/A road with A/C on worked out as an actual (calculated) 37.4mpg - almost bang on what the TripA computer suggested, just coming up 1000 miles.

6th fill up now 1600 miles and 3 weeks old - 325 motorway miles - 40.37mpg (calculated actual - Trip A said 41.2mpg) - its getting better!

Pick-up last Thursday - first 900 miles closed down. 95% on the highway and speed between 65-75 mph

Achieved 36 mpg (imperial) on average which I believe is a good start, having seen some of the numbers in here before. Shocked
