Don't forget also at this time of year the oil companies start putting the additives into their diesel, which has an effect on fuel consumption downwards.

After 2 days my current economy readout is making me chuckle with the rare 99 liters per 100 km Veyron-esque appearing - at idle! Im sure it's an engineers joke to see if I'm paying attention Smile
I've a nice mileage app on my phone that I'll use at fill ups until I can verify the accuracy of the onboard readout!

Up to now I've only been doing relatively short trips and achieving sub 30's but had a decent 120mile round trip today along the m6 mostly with a little town driving at either end..

I set the cruise at 70 on the way out and achieved 40.8MPG and on the return I set it at 75 and achieved 36.3MPG, so for not a lot extra speed it did affect the consumption.

I have to say that I'm really impressed by the comfort of the prestige seats. I suffer with a damaged spine and this was the first time that I could remember in a very long time getting out of an hour plus journey without any problems at all.

250 miles on a manual SD4 engine and already getting 39.8mpg on an 80mile journey being careful on throttle!

In our SD4 Auto over 1000 miles my wife has averaged 24MPG at an average speed of 20MPH. This is marginally better than the 330i auto that she drove previously (which I now use) that returned 18MPG at the same average speed.

I have the freelander 2 SD4 auto and if driven as it should be it can get to 40mpg so I am hoping for a lot more from my manual evoque.

800 miles in 28mpg. Was expecting better, hope it improves.

Wow not bad. Got a 100 mile journey in a couple weeks. Will be careful on way up an thrash it abit on the return to see the difference

I'd guess about 12mpg... over 25%. It looks easy to put your foot down and guzzle it!
