I finally picked up mine from Trivett Alexandria last night. Was completed ready for delivery at 5.25pm (they shut at 5.30) so the whole handover was super rushed. Getting a detailer to look it over properly in the light today though and apply GTechniq paint and glass protection.

Hi MH,
My Evoque wasn't on the Fidelio, it was on the Asian Emperor, and yesterday was 14 days since it came off the ship yet the dealer still hasn't seen it.....now I'm starting to think I'll be lucky to have it next weekend, earlier this week the salesman still had no idea when they'd receive it (Trivett Alexandria).
I think it's more painful knowing how close it is than the time I've waited for it to be built and the journey on the ship (ordered Dec 23rd). Anyone else out there whose Evoque was on the Asian Emperor?

Using OziCozi in Artarmon as they use all GTechniq products and offer stoneguard as well. If you get windows tinted there, they offer a pretty decent discount.
Far far cheaper than having the dealer paint protection and factory installed security glass. Some might feel its not as good quality, but at less than 1/3 dealer quoted price for these options, I'm not complaining.

Mine was on the Figaro, delivered to Melbourne on Saturday the 5th....now the 2-3 week wait till it's ready for pick-up!!

Thanks JoBro. So hopefully I'll get mine this week sometime. How did you find Alto to deal with? I was going to buy from them as they are close to home and bought my Audi from Alto Audi, but they weren't willing to budge on price......went to Trivett and they had an earlier delivery date (May instead of August) and were happy to bargain.

Also on the figaro.. Looks like its just pulling into port Kembla.
Redsi4, I bought from alto. Bargained fairly hard with them, initially they refused to budge, but got around 3-4k off the rrp. Also managed to get 2 years extended warranty for $1470
