What interesting comments indeed. I would have thought obviously if u dont really need to use the back seats regularly you opt for the coupe,simple. As we have a young son now and our current 3dr car isn't as practical as we would like we have a 5dr on order, which I don't feel is a boring 'square' box. We must be breaking the mould as I am not a single female that RR are 'obviously' aiming for as there target market?!
IMO I think the Evoque will make a fine 'family' car?

@ MW73 - agree with the reasoning, but I don't think everyone will see it that way.
I don't have kids (and am not likely to have any for a few years yet) and I do like the look of the Coupe very much.
However, I like the traditional 5 door Range Rover layout. The Evoque's size is perfect for London, but I want a small 4x4, not a big hatch back - the feel of the 3 doors was just totally wrong for me, can't really explain why any better than this. It almost makes it feel like less of a Range Rover to me.

SW6RR - I totally agree with you, I wasn't in fact implying that the only people buying the 5 dr version will be customers with families the same as any car, just saying that was the reason I was.
