I took a 3 year service plan with Pentland LR for less than £820 all in.

Their website has a service plan example for a SD4 covering 15,000 which costs £883.86 (including VAT). You also pay monthly which comes in at £28.51

That price is 20% less than the standard cost which is £1104.82, as Pentland offer an Allegiance card for their customers.

Not sure if people who bought their RRE's from other dealers can apply for the card but I'm pretty happy with the cost as I was expecting it to be more.

Regrettably, I think each franchise dealer will be offering/charging different prices, I don't suppose LR dictate a common pricing policy.

My dealer is Stratstone for anyone wanting to price-match but it's still £30 dearer than the cheapest mentioned on here, although you'd need one of the VIP cards if using Pentand.

I read in autocar ( could be auto express as subscribe to both) that LR now has one of the highest profit margins of any car manufacturer so how about showing some consideration to those that buy your product new and offer a good service plan.
The one I got offered on our D4 was ridiculous

In Switzerland a 3 year service plan is included in the purchase price for all Land Rovers/Range Rovers. Not sure if any othe country offers this

what is an Si4's service interval??? is it a once a year oil change?

Every 16,000 miles or 12 months (alternating between Service A & B) for countries following the service interval plan 1 (including the UK & Philippines).

Hillendale offered me a 3 service deal at £999 payable interest free over 6 months. Not linked to time. I did not want a time bound agreement. Important for me a my mileage fluctuates highly from 1-3000 miles per month. Will be taking their offer very shortly.

I just did a check around my local dealers and haggled with them using Pentland as the datum.

I ended up with Stratsone at £968 for a 3 year package. Includes 1st MOT and courtesy car (do you get these free at landrover anyway?)

Shopped around and got a 4yr plan for close to £1300. Free courtesy car. I've also got paperwork, which refers to 10yr MoT cover, can't lay my hands on at the mo as it is with the users manual.

Just paid £330 (incl.VAT) for first service on SD4 Prestige. Dealer has ordered a new instrument cluster 'cos there's dust on the rev counter dial and a load of bits to try and sort the reversing camera which intermittently fails to come on.
