I was told when I visted the Jaguar production line that the clock wasn't activated until it left the factory

tetstb - (post 19) did your car really have 131 miles on it?

If so do you know why it was so high?

I went on a Jaguar XF tour at Castle Bromwich and the rumble strips for checking rattles is no longer than 5 meters in length - you would have great difficult picking up rattles from that short a distant.

I'm based reasonable close to the Jaguar plant in castle bromwich and you see new cars from the factory constantly being test driven up and down the A38 towards Lichfield.

Just got evoque number 3 today (long story), 9 miles on the clock, really good for a central London dealer!

11 miles including delivery to home, they brought it on a transporter.

Good delivery service from Lancasters in Reading and my employers lease company once the car was finally ready and correct.

10 Miles on mine, collected this afternoon from Taunton LR - top service, great handover, just a shame I have to take it to the GTechniq detailer tomorrow for 2 days as they couldn't accommodate him working on site. But got a small discount off the car as I wanted more for my P/Ex, and a full tank of diesel.

Had great fun driving back on the A & B roads - avoided the M-way. Got up to 37.8MPG which I was quite pleased about.

36 which I thought was high. Also the driver's seat cushion was depressed as though it had been driven for 50,000 miles and the leather on the driver's seat pad was lose and 'crinkley'. They said that is normal as it is a natural product! Any ideas?
