Which product leaves the reddish on? I had a BMW wheel cleaner that did that but I can't seem to get it now.

Would you recommend the c5

The Turtle Wax Wheel Cleaner ICE (from Halfords) did that, it dissolves brake dust (also see start of thread for details), it's very good.

Yes I would recommend C5, but the prep is hard work and essential.

As I've done above, clean and de-wax is essential

gTechniq : How to Apply

Just read their own application details. I have put a good coat of smart wax rim wax on our stored style 5's and will put the c5 on the style 6's when they come off in a month or so, that should do the trickVery Happy

Sounds the job Themacs! As long as you've something on there, backs and fronts!

Will do, thanks Phil

Basic wash today and have to say wheels are now dead easy to clean with the gTechniq C5 on, a quick rinse, wipe and rinse with a microfibre mitt and theyre sparkling again, no worries with brake dust in the corners etc it all just falls off, see how they go over the winter months...

Phil, easy to clean is definitely the case, but I also find Wheel Woolies make it so much easier again getting to the whole of the inside of the alloys as well.

Hi Evo-king, with my style 4's on for winter these are just sooooo... easy to clean now, mitt easily slides in to the back and protects my hand from the brake disc cover, I have Wheel Woolies on top of my Christmas list for when the Summer style 5's go on which are a bast...d to clean in comparison!
