RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - Tomvoque - 12-09-2011 10:55pm Lucky you! Sept / Oct that would be a dream for me! When did you Order? I was there in august and he told me something about Feb / March. I hope it will arrive in dec / jan. We will sea... You have one big advantage. They are doing everything for you relatet to the export. I have to organize all by my own.... ![]() RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - paulelescoces - 13-09-2011 06:44am I ordered back in June, actually visited them today and they had 3 in the showroom... a black Prestige, Black Dynamic with contrast grey roof and a White Fuji 5 door prestige... very close to what i ordered and it was even better than expected. however... he did mention to me yesterday that we could be talking November/December which is somewhat dissapointing, I have a launch event with them this week Friday/Saturday so can hopefully get the details and finally a test-drive. The swiss paperwork is an advantage and was actually one of the reasons I went with them. RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - SebM - 15-09-2011 12:31pm Test drive planned for next week !!! I can't wait... RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - paulelescoces - 16-09-2011 11:51am hi Guys, quick question for you, 1) do you know if ski chains are mandatory in/around the ski-resorts in Switzerland, I was previously in Spain and in Sierra Nevada & the Pyranees it was common in bad conditions that police set up a barrier and only let those with chains past.... I dont know if maybe 4x4s are exempt from this. As we will most likely all be getting 19-20" wheels whats your solution for this? 2) do you plan on getting winter tyres for your evoque?... is so, tyres only or tyres + extra set of wheels? Thanks RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - SebM - 16-09-2011 02:28pm 1) It depends of the weather condition, but sometimes yes it is mandatory. 2) Yes I will get winter tyres as I leave at 860meter and probably tyre+extra wheels... but didn't have a look for the moment... RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - Tomvoque - 19-09-2011 07:28pm 1. I agree with SebM. But normaly your ok without chains. 2. Good point. I need winterweel for shure. Unfortunatly there are no after market parts (wheels) until now. Does anybody already know something about after market parts? 3. What winterwheelsize are you looking for? RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - paulelescoces - 19-09-2011 09:06pm I am actually not sure if to just get tyres... or tires + rims.... The wheels direct from LR are expensive and they only have very limited options...much less even that you can spec with your order... there are very few winter tyre options for the 245/24 R20... I have only found pirelli scorpion ice + snow which are running around 290€ per piece in Germany or 380CHF in switzerland... still undecided on the best plan. Thinking maybe to pick up some second hand 19"... or maybe some aftermarket ones... gives many more tyre options. RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - SebM - 19-09-2011 09:36pm I think I will choose 19" rims... but I don't know yet where I will find it... RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - Tomvoque - 20-09-2011 09:34pm I have the same idea and the same problem... Witch rims did you choose for summer? I canged today. I ordered Style 8 20", now I ve canged to Style 6 20". I've seen yesterday this picture and I think that this are not the right shoes for my white evoque. They are too shiny ![]() ![]() RE: Anybody from Switzerland ? - denver458 - 20-09-2011 11:10pm Cannot find nice 19'' rims for winter... :'( Tomvoque, you can find these rims in black if they're too shiny... ^^ I test drived it 2 weeks ago. A black Prestige Si4. It was just perfect... |
