With regards to other detail, I would strongly advise any deposit placers to pop down to their dealer for a chat. By now, anyone who has a build slot in the first batch should have spec'd their car ready for order.
Models are 'phased' for production, and as mentioned, until 4/4/11 the very best suggestion to avoid confusion is to pop in to your dealer.

In our Belgian price list, there are three remarks about delivery:
- Tech Pack obligatory on Pure until Dec 11
- 4x4 infocentre (Dynamic / Prestige Tech Pack): not available until Dec 11
- eD4: not available until Dec 11

James @ LPR - can you confirm whether you have from LR a list of the Options with Prices as my dealer did not seem to have this (granted, when I was there with him it was the first time he'd had to go through the docs himself)

Yes, all dealers now have a fully comprehensive price file including all model/engine derivatives and all available factory options.
If your dealer has not yet downloaded the information then they can find it on the 'Dealer Portal' which is the LR dealer network intranet.

Looks like there's an embargo on actual orders now
I've been waiting since 10 this morning for a call back from Stratstone Newcastle so that I can place my order - needless to say they must have their first quota well and truly taken

James, just a quick Q - I've put down a deposit (not with you, sorry, found this forum later on!), with a London dealer. What stage should I be at now? I'm on the system, but haven't received any spec sheets or options sheets yet (And so obviously haven't been able to think about a proper order). I had thought from looking around the web that option sheets weren't available yet, but it seems from some of the posts on some of the forums that a few people have actually put orders in.
Is this true? If so, I suppose it must be because options sheets are only being sent to punters based on their position in the order queue? I think I'm somewhere around number 28 at my dealer...
Any light you could shed would be welcome.

Thanks for that, James, if they don't get back to me by tomorrow I will definitely give you my business.
I was about to spend £35,300 on an Audi Q5 and I'm hoping for around the same price I can get into a Dynamic 5-door with sat nav (which I think is standard) with 20in. wheels.
I'd be grateful if you could let me know whether I'm kidding myself or not and whether delivery would be this year?

What engine & gearbox - 2WD or 4WD? I assume as you were looking at a Q5 you want a 5 Door.
