Q5 and X3 represent the direct competition, and were on our short list.
Beyond that, we also looked at X5, MINI Countryman, and LR4 (Disco4).
The RRE was the winner by far, with X3 being the runner up.

None. From the minute I spotted the Evoque on the front page of a car mag in the dentists my mind was made up. That was a long time ago and I have seen nothing to change it since.
