And up north. Less competition than down south!

Think it's time LR did a service plan like BMW with new vehicles. Buy a new X3 and for £350 you get 5 years worth of free servicing.....that breeds brand loyalty.
I read in autocar ( could be auto express as subscribe to both) that LR now has one of the highest profit margins of any car manufacturer so how about showing some consideration to those that buy your product new and offer a good service plan.
The one I got offered on our D4 was ridiculous

The dealer came back with a Price plan of £43.96 * 32 monthly payment total cost £1405.48 over 3 years. I dont know how he came to that figure as I thought 3 years is 36 months.....

Still dont know what the actual service cost is ? Plus I thought these cars are serviced every 2 years ?

Its every 12 months as a minimum and that looks expensive for what I guess is pretty much 3 Oil changes!! Perhaps £30 a month would be more like it!

Thats a lot, mine came to £1065 . If I was you I would phone other dealership to find out whom is the cheapest. You dont have to service your car with them just because you bought it from them.

I'm not going back there, they are awful. Can I ask which dealer did you go to in London?

On one of the forums I used to go on with another car I had, they had a sticky thread which listed dealer servicing deal and prices.

Many owners used this and either travelled further to get a better service deal, or used it to price match.

Can any mods oblige?

Service - absolutely poor. My car, expected in October, delivered at the 4th of january, is parking since four weeks now at the dealers garage because these stupid idio... killed a control unit charging the battery as the salesman told me. I got a rental car but all my plans are ruined. And the new control unit is delivered "next few days","at the end of this week for sure", "next week". I can write a book with all these patter...
