The last of those pics looks like I had thought from the showroom sample I saw - a red metallic fleck...... Definitely not brown!

Thanks for those pics.

They have been taken indoors, but you definitely get the gist.

I can understand why some people have said it looks Burgundy.

I think it is one of those metallics that will look different depending on the intensity of light.

Precisely! BMW do a 'carbon black' which looks black under a cloudy sky but blue in sunlight. Barolo seems to be the same type of metallic.
