At the moment I have to go through Birmingham in the morning and evening at rush hour and I'm getting just over 37 which isn't too bad as there is a bit of start stop traffic and then usually a nice clear run once I get past Birmingham. Cars done 2700 miles and is an sd4 and have had it exactly 1 month today! Smile

Wow. That's great figures. Mines the same car but way lower

Gosh, more than 30000 miles a year...

Yes Mark the miles are being piled on now. I think because it's a new car the miles for the first few months will be high as the novelty where's off they will get lower. I seem to just want to drive the Evoque as the td6 now feels like a van and the focus doesn't even get a look in!

You'll just have to hope the Evoque doesn't wear out before the novelty wears off...

I'm averaging 22mpg today.

Just under 29mpg for me (sd4auto) but in fairness vast majority are short trips. I'm sure that the XF's 3.0 diesel doesn't fit but I'd bet if it did it would be more economical than the 2.2, together with some other really useful benefits, such as refinement and extra shove.

My dealer told me last Saturday that the 3.0litre will not fit into the engine bay, and looking at some of the review videos with the bonnet up I can see why.

Just done under 200 miles and its showing 28 mpg avg. Same as my dads too. Sd4 autos. Hope that improves, when theyre bedded in a little. My 3.0 disco4 did 25 mpg.
