Planning tinting windows and getting style 6 wheels done gloss black. Going from a d4 to Evoque ! It's my wife's dream car she's always wanted one since they came out and I hardly drive it as I'm a farmer and live on farm. Have 2 young children 3 years and 6 months but she's convinced she'll manage for space! Ordered some Inka seat covers for rear to protect them. I've always wanted a Range Rover but can't say it was an Evoque! Was impressed with quality of finish on test drive and it does look good in those colours. Only reservation is engine going from 3l v6 to 2.2, plus it's a manual we've bought. I ll just have to think how much road tax and fuel I'm saving! Welcome Fergie I'd be interested to read how you and your wife get on with the manual box if you have the time to update. I've ordered the manual as my wife doesn't like auto + I've read a few grumbles about the auto box and software updates. RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Wayne'o - 31-05-2015 12:01pm Hello I've just bought my first evoque in Fuji white with pure tech packin manual(traded in my Mitsubishi lancer evo Was a random choice when I originally went in to look, at a 2011 RRSport automatic but after looking around just preferred the looks of the evoque. I never thought I would like a RR in manual but while I was there I thought why not test it and.......the manual was perfect for me, very light and quick gear changes. I always thought if going for a RR it had to be a auto. Main reasons were as having a young son we were looking to get him out of any potential impact zone if in an accident and I owned my my evolution 8 for 5 years So far all is well and not regretting anything RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Jim NI - 08-06-2015 07:12pm Hi - long time member of Freel2 and just bought a 2013 SD4 manual in Orkney Grey for SWMBO (I'm sticking with my FL2 RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Lost for Words - 18-06-2015 09:48am Hello, I'm a member of DISCO3.CO.UK and I'm just signing up to the rest of Martin's forums. I came across the sight by googling something about the car last night and this sight gave me the answer I was looking for so here I am a very informative place to be. RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Pete - 27-10-2015 12:14pm Hi there, and thanks to Martin for fixing my account so I could post. Another new owner here. I started off with a 2011 Freelander 2 HSE, which was great fun for a year. Then wanted something bigger, so traded that in for a 2012 Range Rover Westminster. It was an amazing car, but proved too expensive to keep running, so I've chopped it in now for a 2012 Prestige Lux in Firenze (with ivory interior). Looking forward to joining in further and sharing my experiences.
