Hey there Chiggy, glad you got down there today so you could see it in the flesh....it's so cool seeing it straight off the boat sitting at the wharf. I hope to get a glimpse of mine like this too.

wow i just stumbled on this forum. I'm picking up my new evoque tomorrow from austral Brisbane.
The specs are : dynamic sd4, 5 door, Sumatra black, 20" shadow chrome style 7, dynamic tech pack, rear camera, gps.
I'll post pics up tomorrow.

After contacting the dealer again today I got this response,
"Sorry I thought you knew that your car was in stock, my apologies. We can plan for you to have your car for this Monday subject to your finance being settled"

Anyway looks like a can pick up on Monday

Pity on the service though! that's actually very very shocking! I wonder if their commission is based upon when you place the order of when you pickup the car...
My guess is when you place the order... I imagine if LR changed their policy to commission paid upon customer delivery... the whole scene would change.

YEYYYYYYY!!! Our beautiful baby has been built and is on its way! Got the VIN just waiting for it to come up on topix....
We have an arrival date of March 29
P.S Must say i am getting really pissed with the dealership though, we called again today (placed order over 2 months ago not 1 single call from them, we have called at least 3 times to check status) and the dealer goes öh yeah it has been built do you want the VIN?" like really!!?? Pull ur finger out sunshine!
