Yes, just changed back to my 'summer' Michelins last week, I have a set of Pirelli Verde All Season M&S on 19" for the winter. There is a little less noise from the Michelins, minimal extra harshness but the steering is far better, much more direct on Michelins. As an aside in the last two weeks I have had to make two trips to Inverness, 125 miles each way. On the Pirellis I averaged 37.5 mpg and yesterday on the Michelins 42.3 mpg. Same road, same speed, no traffic (05:00 am start). Slightly warmer ambient temp yesteday by 2-3 deg. C. My tyre pressures are always checked and maintained at manufacturers figuress. Has anyone else found a difference in fuel consumption on different tyres?. Tony |
