I went from a 2012 FL2 HSE to a 2013 Evoque Pure... even with less equipment on my base Evoque, it is a much better ride overall, and it hasn't let me down in minor off roading so far either.

I was greatly concerned before taking delivery, but ride-wise it is a whole different world. Build quality much improved too (but perhaps my FL2 was just a bad one).

Well.... She arrived last week.
The dealer Lloyd Carlisle, we're lovely. The week started off dreadfully after the death of my cat. I dropped him in at the pet cream then cried all the way to Carlisle.
I was an hour early and couldn't see my new car outside.
The lovely salesman Roy, dropped everything, made me a cup of tea fed me some biscuits and was genuinely very kind.
They had my car in the show room under cover and unveiled it for me. It really cheered me up.
I am extremely happy with the car.
Can't wait to take her off roading.

Sorry for your loss... and great the dealer made an effort.

Enjoy your Evoque, be good to hear how you get on with using it off road against your FL2 experience.

Sorry for your loss, the wife and I have been through a fair bit of that! Glad that you had a good experience at the dealer, please do come back and let us know how it goes offroading! I trust you won't need any rescuing. Smile
