I don't mind that I am going to have a LR badge on the front. RRE owners should be proud of the LR brand heritage and their involvement with protecting our country via their application in the military.

I am, however, glad that with the black pack the badge itself is black not green.

My LR badge on my grille is black (and it's just a Pure Plus). I forget what color it is on the back but I think it's also black.

In any case, the car is a Land Rover. It's build on a Freelander 2 platform. Uses a Ford engine. Jaguar bits and pieces (and wheel bolt patterns). It's a great looking and capable car, but if you bought it because it has huge "range rover" branding on it, I'm sorry to say but... true Range Rover snobs don't consider the Evoque a real Range Rover. You should have spent the extra $20K and bought a Range Rover Sport instead.

Ah, but as long as I consider it a Range Rover, and as a bonus it pisses off the true snobs, that's what I call win-win! Very Happy

I'm proud to have Land Rover on my bonnet! My new Range Rover Sport may say Range Rover, it's a Land Rover at heart.

RR wheel caps and other badges look naff IMO.

Sorry to tell you MarkA but on the black pack both front and rear LR badges are green.

That's interesting on my Vista print out I have:

(057GP) Hood Badge - Landrover - Black

I guess this must mean the black RANGE ROVER lettering instead of land rover badge.

Interestingly I also have:

(065EB) Less Intelligent Braking System

Which I don't know how to interpret at all. I'm not sure why I wouldn't want intelligent braking, or less intelligent than normal braking Wink

Black Hood Badge is the one on the bonnet Smile

Intelligent braking is a system that controls the distance between you and the car in front.

Aha the one that's part of adaptive cc!

UnLandRovering - Stadt Panzer - 11-01-2014 08:45pm

You got it Smile

Just A thought....

Do you not think the 3 foot long words "R A N G E R O V E R" (Front and Back) are sufficient enough to highlight the car as pertaining to the said brand?
