My next mod will be the black fog lights just like yours. RE: 20mm spacers fitted - benzina - 06-04-2014 02:20am Been thinking of putting spacers on mine lately, so i checked out the measurement on all 4 wheels to begin the process of making an informed decision on how wide a spacer i would choose, and in the process have found something interesting. So i measured from the centre of the outer sidewall of each tyre, to the centre of the outer point at the top of each wheel arch, and found each side had a different measurement....understanding front and back wheels would be different, but opposing wheel to each side having a different measurement was surprising!....is this normal? My car is Right hand drive. Here's the measurements.... FR - 32mm FL - 22mm RR - 20mm RL - 15mm RE: 20mm spacers fitted - Mark^^ - 06-04-2014 03:19am benzina I think you better rethink you plans as wheel spacers are not legal in any state of Australia for on road use. Also if you do put them on they are well known to chew your wheel bearings out quicker too. If you want to keep it legal, look at getting some bigger offset rims RE: 20mm spacers fitted - benzina - 06-04-2014 04:50am Thanks Mark^^, yeah i had a feeling this might be the case here, as i was really just thinking about it after viewing this thread, and i noticed the H & R suspension Australian website have the spacers as available. I do actually have the nice style 7's with the slightly wider 255 x 45 tyres on them which give that little bit extra width. Whats with the odd measurements though? Why is one side different to the other? RE: 20mm spacers fitted - Mark^^ - 06-04-2014 06:47am I don't know really know the reason for the difference, may be your measurement, but I am no expert. RE: 20mm spacers fitted - benzina - 06-04-2014 07:33am I'm pretty sure my measurement was accurate, and i used the same measuring method as shown on the Eiback website using a level held on the fender, and then a tape measure to the tyre. http://www.eibach.com.au/videos/?entry=3XV-tWHg18o RE: 20mm spacers fitted - benzina - 26-03-2016 02:04pm (16-06-2013 10:10am)Rein Wrote: fitted them today, 20mm H&R DRM system Rein... how are your spacers going so far now that you have put some mileage on them? - Have you had any issues at all? - Have you re-checked the torque settings of the bolts to see if they have remained as first installed? - Hows your review of them overall? - Also, a front-on picture would be good to see, as the rear looks awesome. Cheers! RE: 20mm spacers fitted - wheels - 27-03-2016 04:41am (06-04-2014 06:47am)Mark^^ Wrote: I don't know really know the reason for the difference, may be your measurement, but I am no expert.
