I'm shocked but not surprised that the dealers are being quite do tight - there's no other word for it!!

A couple of hundred pounds of accessories and a full tank don't amount to 0.5% discount!!

Also the dealers still seem to treat the land rover handover document as a "guideline" but everyone I know who has pushed has got at least the full tank and one other freebie such as mats / boot mat and many have been able to negotiate two freebies.

Cup of coffee and third of a tank of fuel!
Stratstones handled the sale very well (at least once the delivery got closer) but I have to say the lack of any recognition of the fact that I had just spent £40K plus with no discount or freebies has left a sour taste. Can anybody recommend a more accommodating dealer within 30 miles of Bolton that will get my servicing and accessories business?

I initially went to Stratstones in Bury to place an order last october and was completely ignored for about 20 mins, so I went to Williams Manchester, where I had a much better experience and ordered from them. Not needed to go back since though
