You shouldn't expect discounts / freebies as he doesn't need to give them. However, how he handles that is a different matter.

What did we order in the end ? my salesman was really good deal done within 30 mins he gave me free mats. tank of diesel and the free 1/2day experience vouchor.plus he now e-mails me ever week to tell me how we are progressing with the build time.shame you had a bad experience today.

I have calmed down now...didn't help with the headache which Iam convinced he gave me lol.
5 door ED4 pure, santorini black, cirrus, tech pack, folding mirror, fog lights and parking aid rear camera.
Only managed 15% discount on the mats and that was from the finance guy not my salesman! Finance guy also gave me the option to have stupaguard for around £485 and he will throw in the mats for free - I declined.
Question: just notice on my order there is a fee for "road fund license & first reg fee £175
Is the the road tax which is suppose to be free????

Why do you think it is 'free' ?
It is in the OTR price but they then just show it split out on the invoice.
Have you spotted the 'free' carbon offset charge ?

My invoice shows £135 road fund and £55 new reg fee.

Yeah I expected it to be included OTR price but the way the invoice is laid out it looked like it was on top...my hubby just checked for me.

Nope but we are still going through the spec. Decisions need to be made on the sparer wheel and tinted mirrors.
Not sure if any of u guys experienced the same but the price I got online was diff to the one the dealer quoted and the same things were ordered. It worked out around £90 cheaper and the electric mirrors came with dipping mirrors but it didn't show that online - not sure if it was just me mis reading it online. We test drove the dynamic the first time and the dipping mirror was great along with the rear parking camera.
How much deposit did u guys put down?
Dealer requested £2000 but when I questioned it saying a few of the other dealers I spoken to only took £1000 he agreed to take £1000. This was the finance guy not the salesman btw. I know dealers can vary but when I originally called up I was actually told £1000 over the phone.

Richard knight - nice guy, always gave me the info I asked for.
I got away with £500 deposit (as I have done again for my convertible deposit)
