How can these be ghastly?

I have seen other versions fitted and they really look crap!

These steps are all aluminium and stainless steel and put together with nuts and bolts, not cheap pop rivit fixes. Shocked

+1, no practical purpose at all. Even my 80+ year mother in law can get into a RRE without side steps!
