How come this is a good idea now but when I fitted it I got flamed with comments about being fined, getting points, and invalid insurance !!!

My car has the duel screen so i can swap from TV or DVD to the nav screen while the passenger still sees the TV and DVD. For cars with single view screen I would assume you will both see your desired output on the same screen.

Ill start a new thread with a Gruop buy if people are interested in any of the stock ive ordered, as part of the thread ill give English fitting instructions and advice as thelandrover PDF was not the exact same as my car.

Pete

PS I obviousley tested it on provate roads Smile

Pete, if you could do a Youtube vid for the installation process (similar to what powerfuluk does), that would be very helpful. Smile in that vid, you were seriously low on fuel!!

May be a stupid question - what are the pre-req's for this other than buying the kit. Must you have the TV/DVD option or does the standard cd slot accept DVDs?

RE: Movie hack - bell-auto-services - 30-01-2012 06:27pm

As far as im aware the non tv/dvd car does not accept dvds in the cd slot though I may be wrong. at some point in the near future im getting some modules so non tv customers can add aftermarket tv to their nav screen.

I should soon have stock of most items as I have now agreed to become their UK Landrover agent for the products they list for the Landrover range.
