Found another pic of the dock - seems pretty much the same place as the other pic. So I'm guessing it's a fixture.

On the bench seat, I'm thinking it may be in the armrest? It will appear as if the armrest when down has some kind of storage area behind the cupholders. I can't lay my hands on it now but has seen a photo with the padded bit behind the cupholders raised (so better be storage otherwise it's very bad build quality:rollSmile

If it's anything like the FFRR (and judging by the look of the remote then it is as they appear to be exactly the same) then yes on the bench seat it is stored in the armrest.

The FFRR system is reviewed here - the first 90 seconds of the video they talk about the RSE (and pull the remote out of the armrest)

PS. This was being the area I referred to, but not 100% what I had in mind….. Does raise that build quality question.Shocked

Solved - The Remote is indeed stored / docked in the back of the center console along with an additional USB port and AV sockets below the remote storage area.
